WHY I AM CONTESTING

WHY I AM CONTESTING

WHY I AM CONTESTING

For more than 25 years, I have lived, worked, and grown within the education system. I have not observed it from a distance—I have experienced it from within. I have walked through classrooms, interacted with students who dream big but struggle with limited means, and stood beside teachers who carry the responsibility of shaping the future while silently battling their own hardships.

Across Patna, Nalanda, and Nawada, I have seen a pattern that cannot be ignored anymore. Behind every classroom is a teacher who is not just teaching—but enduring. Enduring financial stress, lack of recognition, and a system that demands everything from them while giving very little in return.

I have met teachers who have dedicated decades of their lives to education, yet continue to struggle for basic dignity. I have spoken to educators who are forced to take private tuitions late into the evening just to support their families, despite working full-time in institutions.

What affected me the most was not just the struggle—but the silence. A silence born out of fear, uncertainty, and a belief that raising one’s voice may lead to further difficulties.

This is what compelled me to step forward.

I am not contesting this election for position, power, or visibility. I am contesting because I believe that the voice of teachers must not remain unheard any longer.

This election, for me, is a responsibility. It is an opportunity to take the struggles I have witnessed and bring them to a platform where they can no longer be ignored.

I carry with me not just my experience, but the collective concerns of thousands of teachers. I understand their pain because I have listened to it closely.

This is not my fight alone. This is a shared journey—a movement to restore respect, ensure fairness, and build a system where teachers are valued, protected, and empowered.

I am stepping forward not just as a candidate, but as your voice—clear, determined, and committed.
